SpiritList.com Launches in March
A Job Board for the Soul
By Dawn Smith-Camacho
SpiritList.com’s founder, Dawn Smith-Camacho believes this website,
which is modeled loosely on
Craigslist.com, is the
first job and opportunities board exclusively devoted to
Southern Californians passionate about organics, health, well-being,
spirituality, and the earth.
SpiritList.com is designed for all involved in the fields of holistic health and well-being including all Mind/Body/Spirit retail and wholesale businesses, professional practitioners, students, and those interested in learning more about this exploding field.
More and more Americans are now considered part of the LOHAS (Lifestyle of
Health and Sustainability) community, and Californians are on the front lines of
the movement to live healthier, more sustainable lives. “I saw a need for a site
where individuals could find their dream position in this field, and where
employers could inexpensively recruit for an ideal match.” says Smith.
Approximately 30 percent of adults in the U.S., or 63 million people, are
currently considered LOHAS consumers.
The Official Launch Party will be held
March 27 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the
Pasadena Masonic Temple,
200 S. Euclid Ave., in Pasadena.
This event is being sponsored by
Whole Foods, POM Wonderful, and Ten Thousand Villages, offering organic
cocktails, global food, live demos, and a raffle of organic and fair trade
items.
